Entertaiment is audience-centered commercial culture that keeps individuals amused, engaged, and diverted. It is often elicits an emotional response and may also have social, moral, or ethical implications. It can range from a solitary individual selecting entertainment from a now enormous array of pre-recorded products, to a banquet adapted for two; from a play intended for thousands to a speech intended for an audience of millions. Entertainment may also be satirical or ironic and it is a significant industry that spans various sectors such as publishing, music, film, and games.
